homewood suites by hilton - Navy Yard
| D.C is always a good idea! When in town, I like to try new hotels, in various parts of the city to explore new areas. This time, I wanted to be close to the Navy Yard (which was recently renovated, and now a very cool area to hang out!) so Homewood Suites seemed like the perfect place to stay, location wise. The hotel is new and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend - especially for families. |  |
getting there
There is valet parking available. We were greeted by very friendly staff upon arrival.
The room
Our suite was clean, nice and very spacious. There was a very-well equipped kitchenette, dinner table and lounge area (with sofas and a low table).

Guests can access the rooftop terrace, which offers great views of the city. There is an area to relax with lounge chairs and tables, and even BBQs!

If you know me, you would know a hotel with a good gym gets plenty of extra cookie points! Homewood Suites offers a large gym, open 24/7, with many cardio machines, as well as ... a weight section! (Well-Equipped hotel gyms are rare!) The hotel also provides towels.
