first safari! kruger park in South Africa
After 10 days in the Cape Province, we were beyond excited to make our way to Kruger National Park, for our very first safari. So we hopped on an early flight from Cape Town to Hoedspruitt, our heads full of images from Disney Lion King. Although the landscapes weren't at all what I'd pictured, that didn't make this first safari any less wonderful.

ESCAPING TO THE SUNSHINE IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC 1.0.1 (TRIED AND TESTED)
Picture this – June 2020, a “summer” day in the UK (read 12 degrees rainy day), I check BBC news for the 3rdtime Today and still no talks of borders reopening in the near future. We’re on month 4 of lockdown, and there’s only so many arts & craft projects you can finish to keep busy locked in your appartement. Let me just say. 2020 wasn’t the best time to be a hyperactive extrovert living alone. At this point, I miss travelling so much, I’d take airport queues, delayed flights, lost luggages and even middle seats – For human contact and being able to venture further than 5k out of Milton Keynes Central.

3 day iceland itinerary: south coast, west coast & blue lagoon
3 nights in Iceland solo over Easter 2019 weekend, in a few pictures: A girl on a mission to see as much as possible! Read my full 3-Day Itinerary, starting with the South Coast, all the day to Diamond Beach and Jokulsarlon Lagoon, followed with the West Coast (Snaefellsnes Peninsula) and ending at the Blue Lagoon.
Disclaimer: This is an itinerary for slightly mad travellers like me who don't mind cramming A LOT in one day. Of course, I would had loved to spend more time everywhere, but did my best with time constraints. Guides on both days called me crazy when I told them I was doing these two tours in a row... (Oh well... You don't know me! hehe)

charleston, south carolina, usa
Having never been to the southern states, it was about time I planned a trip to that part of the US. My friends recommended I visited Charleston, and they say you should always listen to the ones who know! They were right, Charleston is a beautiful city, very different from cities such as New York, Philadelphia or Washington DC which I’m used to. Forget about skylines and tall buildings, Charleston is all about the history, the (low!) colourful houses, palm trees and super photogenic angel oak trees! (Perfect for your Instagram feed!)

best elephant sanctuary experience near chiang mai, thailand
Elephants are a very very sensitive topic in Thailand. There are many tour operators offering to get to know the animals, but the majority of them treat the elephants very poorly. I most definetly did not want to participate to any sort of animal cruelty, so I did my research…. I cancelled the trip I had originally booked after realising it wasn’t ethical, and booked a day trip with the Karen Native Tribe’s Elephants instead. BEST. DAY. EVER. (No exageration here!) spent with HAPPY and HEALTHY ELEPHANTS. Here’s how we spent the day, and why you should book this tour and not any other! (Thank me later!)

Cornwall, st ives travel guide
Bank holidays call for week end getaways! If you are looking to get out of the city and breathe some fresh air, Cornwall is a safe bet... Having been to Looe and Liskeard before, I wanted to explore a different part of Cornwall. St Ives was recommended to us, and now I can see why! It is, in my opinion, the prettiest, most charming and quirkiest little fisherman village, in the area.

24h in washington dc, usa
Being the capital of the United States, Washington D.C is the place to go for sight seeing. Having been to D.C many times, this short city break was more about walking around Georgetown, discovering new trendy restaurants and just enjoying the dynamic & positive atmosphere the city has to offer. Although we did walk to the White House & The Capitol for touristy pictures (....we wanted a few pictures to update our Instagram feed. Don't judge, you would had done the same!) this article is about the cool things to do in D.C that won't be in your travel guide.
